New member 1983 Scarab 377 Need Owners and Service Manual
New member/owner. I have a 1983 Scarab 377 but with did not come with either an owners manual or a service manual. I have checked eBay, contacted Wellcraft, and asked dealers - all with no joy. Looking for a member who may have a copy, which I could either purchase or copy. Or looking for information if a member knows of a service who sells old Wellcraft manuals.
Thanks
SPT

Boat manufacturers RARELY have 'service manuals'.
Marine Drive manufacturers DO... so, if your Scarab came with twin 454's with Borg Warner transmissions pushing MerCruiser TRS drives, you CAN get a MerCruiser shop manual set, or at least, the volumes for the 340hp 454, helm station electrics, and the transmissions, and the TRS drives... the control handles (Either MerCruiser or Morse, possibly Teleflex)
And you could probably find a copy of the manuals for the original (probably Raritan) toilet, possibly manuals for the helm unit (probably MerCruiser or Teleflex), one for the battery switch, possibly the bilge blower and pump (probably Attwood)... probably not one for the bow or stern lights, certainly not for the cleats, bowrail, or windshield hardware...
