Coastal 232 Guys out there?!?!

I am new to the forum, and I have a 2005 Coastal 232. I bought the boat last spring and have been very pleased with how it is set up for both family cruising as well as a really nice great lakes fishing boat. I am looking to repair some holes that the previous owner put into the hardtop. I know that it is not fiberglass, but I don't know exactly what it is made of. Does anyone out there have any experience dealing with this?

Great boat as I have a 2004 24 foot WA [walkaround] Both boats are very similar. My hardtop is great as I sometimes climb up on it at anchor.I would first consider to fill the holes with same size nylon short white bolts.Using filler or other products will look patchy and never match a 10 year old color etc.

Thanks for the idea. I may give that a try to see how it looks before to see how it looks before I try some type of patching.

I am also looking for anyone who has experience installing a stereo in this boat. I am planning on putting it in the "factory" location in the cuddy above the sink. I believe that the wiring is hiding back there already. My question is removing this panel. Do the white buttons pop off to expose screws holding this panel in, or how do I remove it?

Funny.....thats the first mod I did.....dig out the wiring stuck in the overhead of port side compartment [plug and all 4 speaker wiring plus the power].A great suprise! I got a Walmart car radio that fit well. The fuse was in the panel already installed!
The panel was a challenge but when I cut into it I discovered the opening was there but covered with a thin veneer that I cut

The bow speakers wiring was there as well as the holes in back of the fabric I found the two other locations by tracing the wiring in the hull
