New "Winter" Canvas installed on Martinique 2800

Postby captmike » Mon Dec 28, 2015 1:10 pm

I just replaced the canvas on my 2001 2800 Martinique.....Bimini top, aft curtain, windshield connector and side windows. Bought from Ameritex (taylormade) who has original patterns for Wellcraft. It fit perfectly, and was easily installed. Female snaps were provided and had to be installed Marks on the canvas for the snaps matched up perfectly with the original male snaps on the boat. Buy a quality snap tool and a hole punch for snap installation. Couldn't be happier with the final result and was money well spent.

I need new canvas too, and was hesitant to do the mail order thing from them. (Mine is a 2001 2600 Martinique). So thanks for posting, will give me more options than just the local canvas shop, which I still might use, but at least there are other option.
