View the latest post AC freezing up!

I installed a 12BTU AC reverse heat unit in my St tropez and only on hot days this summer it will not keep up with selected temp and then freeze up like a block of ice?

Bought a stripped and scabby 74 v20 cuddy, motor and trailor, cheap. Rebuilt the transom, motor, lots or vintage parts dug up.Shes still scabby, but on the water at least every weekend since the 115 Johnson fired up. Great boat!

View the latest post Hello from the land of 10, 000 lakes and a river

Longtime owner of a 1987 21' Scarab 1 with the original o/b Yamaha 225 Excel. Last outing was on the Mississippi from LaCrosse WI to Praire du Chien WI, 60 miles, spending over night in a hotel and cruising back the next day. The last major project was adding a Bimini top and the next project is to lift off the outboard and reinforce the transom.

View the latest post Riviera M470 - Wet Carpet

Just purchased 2002 Excalibur and the carpet around the bench seating in the galley keeps getting wet, the water has a rust color. I thought it was from previous owners but I cleaned the entire carpet and after we took a trip the water came back in all the same places.

View the latest post dash gauges and warning lights

I've been restoring a nova spyder with twin engines for the last 5 years the boat had many issues and I finally tryed for the first time last week and it's great.
But I still have a major problem. All my gauges are working fine but there are 7 lights in a row that run along in the middle of the dash that most of them are broken meaning that there were little red covers on them that indicated what they were for. I know this because I found a few laying around on the floor a couple say oil another volts and so on. with the engines running I see some of the bulbs that are not broken either on and a couple of them flash rapidily.

If someone out there knows which one is which and/or a wiring diagram to help me make it right I will forever be in there debt thanks, number five

View the latest post Hello from Destin, Florida

Hi everyone, I'm Jim. Long time lover of boating and the water but new to owning a boat over 14'.. Here looking for info on how to best maintain the boat we bought last year but as of yet have only had in the water a few times.. Doesn't seem to be much info on the Sanibel on the search engines unless of course you are looking to buy one.. I thought this might be the best place to get in the know...

View the latest post water in 2600 bilge

always had water in bilge, would remove all water, sea water hoses all tight, rain water comes in on starbd. side at edge of rear seat unit, did put rope foam in between, but last spring removed seat and cut piece of plexglass to fit about 1/2 in. above outline of boat, sealed and secured to boat, re installed seat, my boat bilge is so dry!
