Hello! I am new to the forum. I have just recently purchased a 1992 3200 LXC. Fantastic boat, low hours. My gas gauges are stuck on full. I've tested the gauges and them seem fine. My next chore is to remove the senders. They seem to be electronic and there is very little room to access them on the gas tanks. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, are the senders flexible? Can they be replaced without having to drill a hole through the floor to get at them?

I thinking about buying a 1985 open bow welcraft, I think its a 192 American with a 3.0 mercruiser i/o...I know nothing about a i/o setup..is it a good boat & motor setup..or should I steer clear...ty

I see the forums for the newer models, (Coastal, Fisherman, Etc.), but see nothing on the older models such as the Eclipse and the Excel. And probably other older Wellcraft models on top of that. I say those two specifically because they seemed to be very popular models during mid/late 80's, till the end of the run when they stopped producing those.

I realize you cannot have a forum for every specific model. But I'm sure there are a lot more people out there buying older used boats, rather than new. I see tons of Eclipse/Excel models when I search used boats, so I sure was surprised to not see a dedicated forum for the Eclipse/Excel/Others. Also see a lot of questions going unanswered.

I'm a new member and hope I'm just not missing something.

Any info is feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hello everybody,

I've had my new to us 1994 Wellcraft Eclipse 210s, a.k.a "Hurt'n", for about a year now. Interior was rough, but engine was recently replaced new. About 100 hours. Just recently glassed in a new 5/8" floor, new carpet, seats, upholstery, gauges, stereo, etc... The royal treatment. Will upload a few pics.

I'm in the Chicago burbs. Navigate the very end of the Fox River and Illinois River. Looking forward to gaining (and lending) some useful information on, what I consider, some of the best boats out there.

Just popping in to show off my hard work (did all myself) and to say hello to WBO and all. I think I'm gonna like this site.

And just realized I don't have any good pictures. I've only had it out twice this season. And due to recent heavy rains and now flooded rivers, I don't have any good pictures of it on the water. But, will give you all a few of what I have. Will get some better shots and upload at a later date.

And recently bought a wellcraft sunyacht 255
That has a flybridge
So the name "the flyingdutchman"
Seemd allricht to me

Now the boat is not in that good condition
So my plan is to restore it to its original condition
Whit some modern modifications

But on my search for picture,s of other sunyachts
I did not find that much
But then i came across this forum
