View the latest post Looking for windshield 1986 Classic 190

I am in need of the port side windshield for my 1986 wellcraft classic 190. It shattered on me and had local glass company cut a green laminate replacement all looked awesome mounted back on boat. BUT THEN the new $340.00 glass cracked just sitting there.

Any help is great

View the latest post V-20 Step Lift

Hello Wellcraft Boat Owners,

My Son and I just purchased a 1982 Wellcraft V-20 Step Lift that needs some TLC. We checked all over the internet and cannot find any manuals specific to our make of boat. If anyone knows where to find the owners, parts and repair manuals please let us know as we are excited to work on our father & son V-20 Step Lift.

View the latest post Fuel Gauge and Sender

My gas gauge died. I know its either the gauge or the sender. Has anyone recently replaced either of these parts? I think I found the Faria gauge online but there are 2 different ones, one is part #GP7906 and the other is GP7906B. I am not sure what the difference is. Also, is there a specific sender or is a universal one going to work?I want to get both parts ahead of time so that once we have things torn apart I have everything I need. Thanks in advance for any advice. - Lee

View the latest post Attachment(s) Hello!

Hello fellow Wellcraft enthusiasts! I've had my 1995 Wellcraft 196 SS Eclipse "Party On" since about 2011. It's been fantastic with very few issues. Has the Mercruiser 5.0L and that baby runs strong. Normal service, nothing crazy. Mostly cruise and party cove it.

Last summer I went to get it out of storage and to my horror an animal (most likely a relatives "pet" raccoon decided to make this boat its winter home.) The front seating area was completely destroyed. All stereo wiring & spark plug wires were chewed through. A total disaster. So much so that I actually thought about scrapping my beloved boat.

Well, she just came back from the upholstery guy & the detailer and I'm very pleased how it turned out. Yes I'd rather have the original interior still in it, but, truth be told, its a blessing in disguise. The original interior was still in the boat and was needed some work done anyway. 26 years out of the first interior wasn't too bad :)

Anyway, I look forward to getting some more info in the coming future from the forum as there are a few things I'd like to take care of myself.

Thanks!
Cliff

View the latest post Got a new boat.... AND the floor is rotted! What do i do?

Ok guys, no new story here from what i can tell.

I just got this boat and noticed the floor was a little soft in the back. So i started picking out the soft parts and of course it evolves into much more.

This is my first time diving into a boat project.
Check out this video, let me know what you see.
Is this a botched repair?
What do you see that I do not see?
What else do i need to be looking at so i don't have more problems down the road?
How would you repair this problem?
Thanks!

View the latest post 290 Coastal Wiper Motor Replacement

Has anyone ever changed or heard of anyone that might’ve change the wiper motors on a 290 Coastal? It appears that the motors are behind the headliner and and can’t find any screws or clips holding it in place. In other words, I have no idea on how to remove the headliner on my 2006 290 Coastal in order to replace my wiper motors. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
