View the latest post Attachment(s) 1986 Wellcraft V20 Step Lift - Owners Manual?

Just picked up this new to me V20 Step Lift cuddy. Looking for an owners manual. Any info anyone has on these would be great. I got it for a fair deal in decent shape. Needs a few things and definitely some attention to the wood trim.. but I've got big plans to make her new again. So far impressed with this boat but I can't find much info about it.

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a 1994 Excel 26 SE. I am in need of the owners manual so that I can become completely knowledgeable with thisvessel. If anyone has a pdf version of this year's manual I would greatly appreciate you sharing with me.

Thanks

View the latest post 232 Wellcraft Fisherman 2013

Purchased 2013 232 Wellcraft Fisherman with 250 Yamaha (500 hours) last year, boat passed structural survey, boat is in good condition and appears to be well maintained. At time of purchase there were some small areas of gel coat cracking on the port and starboard gunwales near the rod holders. The cracking on the starboard side is now migrating down to the rub rail. I would guess the cracking has moved 6"last season, I have asked the prior owner if there was ever any damage to the boat and or repairs made in this area which he responded no. There are no other areas of gel coat damage. I use the boat on Lake Saint Clair, Michigan. I do not run the boat hard or in rough conditions. Has anyone had a similar problem with this model or have any knowledge of a similar problem with this model. Just seems odd that the cracking to gel coat has moved that much in one season on a 9 year old boat.

Thank you.

Joe

View the latest post Anchor Secondary Switch

I have a 2000 Wellcraft 3000 Martinique new to me this year. The Anchor switch is not working and it was last season before I acquired it. I have asked several people about it and all have said that there is most likely a secondary switch (or breaker) that prevents accidental anchor operation. One of those I asked is a Wellcraft owner but of a much different model so he did not know where the backup switch (for lack of better terminology) was located on my cruiser and the other was the previous owner.
Any assistance regarding a backup/fail safe switch would be greatly appreciated as I remain moored in port until this issue is resolved.
Thank you.

View the latest post Attachment(s) 2001 Coastal 270

Greeting, we are looking at an 01 270 coastal but noticed it appears to be sitting about 2 inches lower in the water than the bottom paint covers. I searched for standing water but couldnt find any in the bilge area. It has been in covered moorage for awhile but my concern is hull constuction. Does anyone know if its a solid hull, stringer composition and howmuch/where was foam used. Trying to see if I am looking at a waterlogged hull or just eet foam and then the cost of repairs. Beautiful boat outside of that. Just fyi, the boat is empty, batteries are out so I have no idea how much fuel/water is in it. Seatrials next week, hoping it ahakes something loose and pumps out a ton of water but we will see. Any help os greatly appreciated, thanks.

View the latest post Attachment(s) No interior

Hi

I am a new member in the UK and have seen a 1989 Wellcraft 192 classic all there and seems ok but the interior is missing ie seats engine cover side trim and rear seat cushions. I am thinking of restoring it but need to know what is the availability of said items.

Also the cabin is in a bit of a state there seems to be some sort of ballast under the side seats would this be correct ?

Thanks in advance

View the latest post Attachment(s) Hi! First time boat owner and WC. Drinking from a firehose

Hello Gents/Ladies,

New guy here. Purchased my very first boat. its an 01' Martinique 2600. Yeah I know what you're thinking. Probably not the best choice for a first boat. :) But I like to jump in with both feet.

I have already took the required boating course from the State of Florida (i'm in Tampa). I am pretty good with a wrench so I figured I can apply my race car wrenching to the boat. Overall the boat is in great shape for being 21yrs old. Everything works and I have taken it out twice so far.

Putting it in the water and navigating it on the water is pretty straight forward. I keep an eye on my depth, watch for the channel markers, crab traps, and PWC. Now docking it and loading it back on the trailer I think I got a few gray hairs because of it. First time the current was strong and it took me 20 mins to dock it. lol.

Anyways, looking forward to gain some knowledge from you experienced owners.

Thanks.
Mark

View the latest post Counter sinking screw holes as a repair?

Good morning folks,

As I take stuff off of the hull that is outdated, there are several screw holes that need to be covered.

at least a few will be under the water line.

My thoughts are to counter sink the hole in order to put a screw with 4200 back in it's place. Hopefully leaving a flush surface.

thoughts on this, or other simple fixes to the holes?

View the latest post Cabin cushions

Where is the best place to buy replacement cabin cushions for a 2000 Martinique 2600? I need the bed and the other cushion covers, the foam unzippers from all of them.
