I recently bought a 2003 290 coastal. Behind the rear seat is an electrical device with a red positive cable and a black negative cable. The red cable has a wiring # 92 on it. Can someone please tell what it is? I previously owned a 2005 290 coastal and it did not have this device. Thank you

I own a 2000 24 walk around and was wondering what are the 2 straps for on the fold down transom panel in front of engine. Also there are 4 holes in square pattern drilled in panel above the straps and cannot figure out what was removed. Any help would be appreciated.

So ... excited about my Wellcraft which was built somewhere between 1980 and 1990, now marina located on the river Ant.
My first task is to accurately Identify the boat and I hope some members will recognise the year and model from this description. So say a 21.5 foot in white with red trim sports cuddy cabin, it has the black painted windscreen frame with central hinged section and no curved glass. Wellcraft Luna Eclipse is black stencilled on the hull sides just to rear ends of side windscreens. What year made do you think?
I had to take delivery a couple of days before Christmas and in very wet weather so not the ideal time and I need to get the cockpit tent up pronto to protect her and dry her out as she's on hull stands on the hard after a 100 mile road trip from the previous owner. Quite a lot of work to get her in the water. Trim and upholstery refurbed and installed, a hatch and port side cabin door resealed and made good, steering and control gear installed, fibreglass outboard mount fabricated and incorporated in the transom/swim platform and some tidying and glass repairs to transom where the sterndrive has been removed and the transom entry filled, stainless steel rails re-fitted and my outboard fitted, before dropping her back in the water. Photos later as we make a little progress, but she is still a handsome vessel.

My name is Dave and I live on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia. I have been without a boat since 2012 when I sold my pristine 1996 V21 150 Mercury. It was a major mistake I have regretted ever since. I have been wanting another V20/V21 and have been looking for about 6 months. I finally located a very nice 83 V20 Steplift I/O up in N.H. fresh water use since new with a new Mercruiser 5.7 with 2 hours. The owner will be trailering it down here first part of Jan. I am also a member of the www.wellcraftv20.com. I am also looking for an 83 Wellcraft Nova 2 26ft in the same condition. I will see if I can post photos.

The black powder coating on my metal bars for the top are showing some salt water corrosion. I'd like to refinish them where this is an issue. Does anyone know what paint is used? It's a textured powder coating and is at the shop now ready to be addressed. Boat is new to me 2019 Wellcraft 262 Fisherman.

I just bought this boat and I don’t really know much about it. I would really like to get a manual for it, either an owners manual or repair manual but I cannot find anything online. I’m trying to winterize it right now and I think I have the engine winterized properly, but I don’t know if it has a freshwater tank or not. If it does have a freshwater tank I can’t find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, My port side shaft is spraying water in the engine compartment at high RPM. I was told I needed to replace the seal with a non drip seal. I have no idea, so I built a trailer and took the boat out of the water because I didn't want to take a chance. I am looking for a marina that can handle that job without breaking the bank. 1992 St. Tropez, V drive. I am located in Central Florida. I would appreciate any sugestions. Thanks

Technically this is my first boat so I'm pretty excited. It has two diesel cummins engines although one kinda smokes when it runs for more than 10 minutes. They say it has to get a hose replaced that feeds water to the engine. The toilet also has to be replaced but the engines have less than 3,000 hours on them so pretty good so far.

Any pointers? It came with a huge amount of fishing gear.
